What is Image Consulting?

Image Consulting is a professional field wherein clients hire an Image Consultant to evaluate, improve, enhance, update, or upgrade their appearance to ensure that their Image is consistent or congruent with their personal, social, and/or professional roles and goals—with what they want to accomplish in life. It is the process of empowering clients to reflect or project the confidence and competence that comes from an authentic, appropriate, and attractive appearance.  Image Management Consulting is a fascinating profession wherein the Image Consultant can truly make a positive difference in people’s lives and in society as a whole. When clients look better, they feel better, they act better, and then others react better to them!

No formal experience or prior knowledge of technical image aspects required.  Just a passion for the industry and a sincere love for people!

Compared to other businesses, Image consulting requires a fairly low overhead. Our students receive a complete Image Consultant Starter Kit that will assist and equip them to start their own business. There are a few extra charges, such as the option of a mirror, rack, lamp and client color pallet booklets. In addition you can print out and personally brand the client workbooks provided for your client.
